The types of workshop

Live Tag

A participatory workshop that invites the public to contribute with its own #tags to classifying the themes and ideas expressed in the works.

Akin to the way that the language of social networks #tag is used to share contents, the #tags chosen by the visitors become something that is shared by the participants, and will pave the way to a collaborative installation inspired by the exhibition.

Duration: 90 minutes

Body to Body

A dynamic and performative workshop that invites the public to experience the ideas in the exhibition on a more engaging aesthetic level. Starting from the vision and the comment on some of the works selected that reveal the body as an instrument of communication, the participants experiment with the non-verbal language of gestures, movements, and emotional responses as an expressive code.

The experience involves bodies, minds, and emotions aimed at using their collective action to interpret the ideas produced during the exhibition.

Duration: 70 minutes

Art Stories

A workshop for families with children aged from 6 to 11 that offers sensory, emotional, and narrative explorations around some of the works dedicated to enviromental protection.
Perceptive experiences, dialogues, and above all stories are the main elements of this experience.

Art stories are the endless possible tales that can be triggered by each work
of art. Families spend a creative time together in renewing their commitment to protecting the environment.

Duration: 60 minutes

Exchanges

A participatory workshop that invites the public to explore different structures of involvement to allow new knowledge to flow.

The experience unfolds like an interactive dialogue that fosters the conversation between participants.

In the best conversations opinions are exchanged, anyone can offer their own point of view and contribute to the dialogue; tensions can be created between divergent ideas or new thoughts can discovered and harnessed, thus creating new connections with another person’s thoughts.

Visitors participate in an experience of collaborative knowledge that encourages exchange and empathy.

Duration: 90 minutes

Podcasts by Ponte tra Culture volunteers.

FAI Ponte tra Culture is a FAI project addressed to favoring the intercultural conversation between people from different geographical places. Through the artistic and cultural heritage, FAI Ponte tra Culture works to favor the integration of foreign citizens living in Italy, on the one hand, and to promote the encounter with and breaking down of prejudice that is often the result of a lack of knowledge, on the other.

For the exhibition of Progetto Genesi the FAI Ponte tra Culture volunteers contributed to producing short podcasts focusing on the themes of the six sections, offering their own experiences and personal memories from their native countries as well.

Some podcasts are included in the app of Progetto Genesi. The app is downloaded on mobile phone and on tablet. Click here to download the App.
